Buddied with Maria - [her] first night dive & somewhat worried. By end, very enthusiastic! Also, another woman [Melissa, I later discovered] had a problem with her reg. mid-dive & moved to reserve. I spotted her "telling" dive leader & checked on her. She was very grateful after dive, tho' I thought it was common courtesy! HUGE turtle - 4ft+ - in cave, & then swam lazily after we'd shone lights at it. Felt so privileged. It was big enough for ride-hitching (we didn't!). Must have been so old - it was very beautiful. Other highlights included - another slipper lobster, massive starlet coral, caribbean spiny lobster, batwing coral crab, various starfish, high hat (?) - can't remember everything, as turtle dominated the dive!
Sorted out my breathing - just breathe slower!
Buoyancy better with valves sorted, but some problems with drifting too close to coral, as we all wanted good looks at things of interest, and got a bit crowded.
All in all, an amazing dive! Dive leader - Curtis.
